Spirit Island: Nature Incarnate Arrives!

Spirits of myth and legend turn their unimaginable power upon the Invaders! Nature Incarnate unleashes more Spirits, Powers, and Aspects to defend the Island. Plus, more Events, Fear, and Blight cards bring additional challenge and variety!

Nature Incarnate initially includes 1 Spirit, 2 Aspects, 12 Power Cards, 9 Event Cards, 9 Fear Cards, and 8 Blight Cards. More content and features will be available in future updates, with no additional purchase required.

Other Fixes and Improvements:

  • A security vulnerability in the underlying Unity game engine has been fixed.

  • Online multiplayer now requires a connection to the server responsible for sync/undo before you can create or join a game. This will prevent problems where some players were unable to sync/undo, because their network was blocking that server.

  • Automatic zooming is smoother and no longer zooms out in between successive Invader actions.

  • The summary information on the Habsburg Monarchy Adversary button now indicates the maximum number of Blight allowed, instead of 1 more, for consistency with other Adversaries. For example, 0/2 when playing with 2 Spirits, instead of 0/3.

  • After the game is over, you can look at hidden information (Fear, Blight, and Invader cards) in the Details panel.

  • Spirit Foresight now shows the +2 damage from Intensifying Exploitation.

  • The game will no longer get stuck if Portents of Disaster and Resourceful Populace trigger in the same land.

  • Move a Presence growth options no longer allow you to move Presence further than you are supposed to.

  • Fixed an issue against Russia 5+ where the game could get stuck in multiplayer when using a power to Drown a Town and generate enough Fear to reveal an Invader Card.

  • Despicable Thieves now elude Removal correctly with Twisted Flowers Murmur Ultimatums.

  • Many Minds Move as One is now able to indicate that its Sacred Site does not count as Beasts for the Coming of Age event.

  • When Gift of Abundance is being Repeated, it now correctly ignores its Repeat instructions.

  • Blur the Arc of Years will no longer cause the game to get out of sync in multiplayer in some situations.

  • Open the Ways now triggers properly during Fear Card actions.

  • Utter A Curse Of Dread And Bone can now correctly count the number of Blight if an adjacent land is affected by Weave Together the Fabric of Place.

  • Fixed an issue where when Remnants of a Spirit's Heart (With Patient Focus Craft a Great Warding) was in effect and Weave Together the Fabric of Place was used, the conjoined land had Defend 8 instead of 4.

  • Fixed the interaction between Spill Bitterness into Earth and Blood Draws Predators.

  • When resolving Missionaries Arrive (Prey on the Unwary), destroyed Russian Explorers no longer ignore Isolation on adjacent lands.

  • Fixed an issue where Invaders Surge Inland would not allow you to move an Isolated Town inland if you wish.

  • Using Visions of a Shifting Future to reveal a supporting adversary Habsburg Reminder Card and placing it at the bottom of the Invader Deck will no longer cause Waves of Immigration to repeatedly trigger.

  • During A Diversity of Spirits, undoing in the Fast Phase will no longer cause the incorrect Spirit's hand to show.

  • Fixed an issue during setup of a new wave in the Second Wave Scenario where pushing Dahan to adjacent lands could softlock the game.

  • The game will no longer get stuck in multiplayer when Dahan Insurrection's Military Response takes effect and Finder of Paths Unseen is in the game.

  • Fixed an issue with Bonus Growth reduced difficulty where the game could get stuck in the first Spirit Phase of A Diversity of Spirits multi handed solo mode.

  • Seeking the Interior (Stage I) no longer ignores isolation effects.

  • When playing with Many Minds Move as One against Russia 1+, destroying a sacred site that is treated as beasts no longer negates the Presence destruction from adding Blight.

  • Dream of the Untouched Land now works properly when used on an Ocean against Scotland.

  • There is now a choice in where to Ravage first while No Bravery Without Numbers is in effect.

  • Fortune Seekers no longer ignores Supporting Adversary escalation in Stage III.

  • Fixed an issue in which France's Triangle Trade could still trigger despite lands being isolated.

  • Explorers are Reluctant (Level I) now correctly resolves when Fortune-Seekers (Healthy Island) is in effect.
